Rod Greets Me at the Door
Guess how many times I can get lost looking for Rod's house after I get to Phoenix? All of 'em. Every single time I go. Honest. There are just too many freeways, which is amazing considering that everyplace you go in Phoenix involves at least 20 miles of surface streets. Where do all those freeways go once you hit town?
I was expected around 9:30; made it around 11. Just as I got out of my truck, Rod's older son Trevor arrived to pick up his daughter who gets to stay with grandma pretty often. Trevor woke Rod up, and he put on his formal attire to greet me. I'm pretty sure those are pajamas he's wearing. Yeah; they're pajamas.
The house looks the same in the daylight, but Rod usually wears pants, so at least there's some change.
