Wet Beaver Creek
From the shots of Montezuma's Castle, turn 180 degrees on the very same spot, and prepare for a spectacular view of Wet Beaver Creek. Just north of here is another tributary of the same system, called 'Dry Beaver Creek.' This one is called 'Wet Beaver Creek' presumably because it has water in it. 'Dry Beaver Creek', upon inspection, lived up to its name, but I won't belabor the point any further. I just want to know one thing: if they know it's dry, why is it called a creek? Why not call it Beaver Trough, or Beaver Canyon? That way, this one could just be 'Beaver Creek' and be done with it. I try to be tolerant, but sometimes you just have to wonder what people are thinking.
